NS-1080 is a custom blend of ammonium sulfate, sodium propionate, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate. This blend is effective at a pH range of 4.5-6.5 against different spoilage organisms which makes this blend more effective than the individual components by themselves. This blend allows for enhanced stability and increased shelf-life.
NS-1080 is blended specifically to maximize loaf volume and grain in yeast raised products. This preservative blend combats yeast inhibition, improving volume and proof times while also providing optimal mold control to extend the shelf-life of your products. This blend is manufactured using our patented process to remove any off color, odor and taste. This allows you to deliver the products your customers have come to expect while extending the useful life of your products.
PRODUCT USE + STORAGE
We recommend a usage rate of 0.05-0.40% of the weight of the food being applied to. NS-1080 shelf life is up to 18 months, and has been tested to be effective for up to 30 days once applied. Store in a cool, dry, and dark place.
This blend comes in 40 to 50lbs. or 20kg (net weight) heat-sealed packages. Each package is a 3-tiered multi-wall Kraft paper bag.
