Nutri-Shield Partners with Nex-Gen Internship Program

Nutri-Shield is pleased to introduce the newest addition to our team, Carolina Barraza. Carolina is a Senior at Pike Valley High School and is joining our team as an Intern for the 2021-2022 school year.

Carolina lives in the Republic County area. She enjoys bettering her school and community through different activities. She is the current STUCO and KAYS President and has leadership roles in a few other clubs. Carolina has enjoyed running in cross country during high school and has qualified for state a number of times. Lastly, Carolina has been a cheerleader for the past four years. When she is not busy with school, she is creating new earrings and working on projects for her business Wonderfully Made. After winning the county and state YEC, she decided to start her own online business selling polymer-clay earrings. Looking into the future, she plans to attend the University of Nebraska - Lincoln where she plans to major with a major in Finance.  While she unsure of what she wants her job to be, she wants to be involved in international relations.

During her time with Nutri-Shield, Carolina will be learning about all aspects of the business including learning about and working on Food Safety Policies, Finances, Inventory and Production Scheduling. She will also be providing some valuable assistance in document translation.
